This is not just a business. It is a calling built on evidence.

Katharine Ospring has spent over two decades at the intersection of clinical bodywork, biomechanics, and horse psychology, because she believes every horse deserves to move freely, feel good, and remain a partner their owner never wants to sell.

The horses that end up in Katharine's care have owners who think a little differently.

They are not looking for the cheapest option or the quickest fix. They have usually already tried those. They are looking for someone who will look at the whole animal, tell them the truth about what they find, and give them the tools to actually change the trajectory.

They understand that the life we ask horses to live, the stalls, the repetitive work, the artificial shoeing, the predators on their backs asking them to perform, is fundamentally unnatural. And they take seriously the responsibility that comes with that. Their horse is not a commodity they will replace when it stops performing. It is a partner they intend to keep sound, willing, and ridable for as long as possible.

If that is how you think about your horse, you are exactly who KO Equine was built for.

Most practitioners treat the symptom. Katharine finds the source.

What a horse is presenting on any given day is rarely the whole story. There is almost always a combination of physical, mechanical, and psychological factors influencing each other beneath the surface. Treating one without accounting for the others guarantees the problem returns.

Every horse Katharine works with receives a full assessment, not a checklist, but a genuine read of what that animal's body is telling her and what it needs to move freely and stay that way. Her sessions draw on anatomy, biomechanics, natural horsemanship principles, and a toolkit that includes advanced bodywork modalities, saddle fit evaluation, and targeted conditioning guidance.

This is not a one-size-fits-all practice. It never has been.

A limited practice. Intentionally.

Katharine works with a carefully selected client base. Her practice is intentionally small, which means every horse she takes on receives her full attention, her best thinking, and a continuity of care that simply is not possible at volume.

She is the right fit for owners who are ready to take an active role in their horse's long term soundness, who want to understand what is happening in their horse's body, not just be told what to do, and who value a practitioner who will give them an honest assessment even when it is not what they were hoping to hear.

If that sounds like you, she would love to learn more about your horse.
